JITSET NIGERIA INDUSTRIES LIMITED
  JITSET NIGERIA INDUSTRIES LIMITED is an indigenous manufacturing company which is engaged in the production of polythene nylon and nails and with strategic/diversification into production of packaged sachet and bottled drinking water. Presently the major products of the company are polythene nylon which constitutes about 60% of its turnover while packaged water and nails of varying sizes and dimensions make up the rest. The production of these products though is on course but below installed capacity – the nails production being most affected. These mitigating factors lead to the conceptualization of the major expansionary programme,
which is given full expression in the quest by the promoters for equity

investment by Amalgamated Capital Fund Limited (‘ACFL’). The company had been transformed from a loss making position to profitable position within eight months of ACFL’S involvement. Plans had been concluded to inject additional fund by ACFL to buoy up working capital of the company.

COMFORT COATINGS LIMITED

Comfort Coating Ltd is an indigenous manufacturing company that is currently engaged in the production, distribution and marketing of varieties of paints and other chemical and allied products in Nigeria. The company also proposes to be engaged in the application of specialized marmoran wall coatings and products through Capetex Industries Nigeria Ltd located in Lagos which currently has the franchise of Marmoran (Pty) Ltd, Cape Town, South Africa. Presently the major and more commercially viable products of the company are decorative, industrial, wood/floor finishes and all marmoran specialized products. Recently, the company bid and won the contracts for the repainting of Cooperative Bank Plc’s offices and estates all over the federation which is an evidence of satisfactory acceptance of the company’s products.

The production is currently below installed capacity necessitating a proactive expansion programme through injection of equity funding from ACFL to enable it commence increased commercial production of the products. The programme involves acquisition of additional set of plant and machinery and utilities, motor vehicles and injection of working capital in addition to investment in the application of marmoran products. The company proposes, through the expansion programme, to establish showrooms/sales depots, as part of the corporate plans, for the finished products in three major cities of Nigeria, Lagos, Abuja and Port-Harcourt.

The company is currently in the commercial area of Ibadan town at 1-7 Comfort Way, Eleyele-Eruwa Road Ibadan, Oyo State, South West Zone of Nigeria.

 

 

STUDENT HOSTEL DEVELOPMENT COMPANY (SHDC)
  The project involves construction of a standard purpose built student hostel in Benin City at a total project cost is N218 million. The objective is to provide qualitative residential accommodation to students of tertiary institutions in and around University of Benin, its medical school and Ekhiadolor College of Education and others with state of the art amenities. The hostel which is proposed to be a 466 bedded hostel will be let annually with rents payable in advance. The project is structured through equity syndication and led by Asset and Resource Management Company (ARM) - a subsidiary of GTB Plc. Having disbursed its fund in conjuction with other coinvestors by ACFL, construction work began in last quarter of 2004.

The project site is at the intersection of Ohonre Grammer School/Palm Royal Resort and the Lagos Benin Expressway opposite University of Benin in Edo State.
